The band’s repertoire includes classics and some hidden less-often played selections from Steely Dan, the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Tom Petty, the Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse, Carole King, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Led Zeppelin, the Doobie Brothers and more. A variety of great song selections delivers an experience of discovery and nostalgia by honoring the performances and artists who have truly stood the test of time. Jack and the band believe in keeping great music alive and well!
Jack’s love of music began as a toddler and has been a constant in his life. Like most kids with a desire to learn more about music, Jack studied classical music with a piano teacher who helped identify his unique gifts and talents. Jack continued his early music development in Henrico County Public Schools and after graduating from Godwin High School, he moved on to Nashville where he is pursuing a degree in music business and music performance at Belmont University. Always looking to participate, create, and share his God-given talents, Jack has collaborated in writing and arranging with fellow Belmont student-artists producing original jazz, hip hop and R&B music. Check out Jack’s work on Bill DuBois songs — search Bill DuBois on Spotify, YouTube, and iTunes. Talented musicians in the band include Jack’s younger brother Will on percussion, who plays drums for the Godwin High School Jazz Band and is the drum captain for the school’s marching band drumline. The band also includes his father Bill on guitar and family friend Jim McCauley on bass. Julia Weatherholtz is an exceptionally talented vocalist and is also a recent Godwin High graduate. The band involves other highly talented musicians in their community of friends, family, school and church.
