Science Pub RVA - Working Bees to Death
Science history over a sip of some sort.

Explore the social and historical dimensions of a complex environmental problem with Dr. Sainath Suryanarayanan. He’ll talk about his research involving scientists, beekeepers, farmers, policymakers, and citizens in the U.S. and around the world working to understand the ecology of Bee Colony Collapse Disorder.

It’ll be the Bee’s Knees and you can drink one too!

Are these events for scientists?
Quite the opposite. This particular pub is more sociology and history than biology. Plus, all Science Pubs are specifically created for non-scientists.

What time should I arrive?
Anytime between 5:45 and 7:00 pm, when we’ll begin the program.
